eco-stream

Companies are stepping up their environmental stewardship to lure eco-sensitive customers, slash operatiing costs and of course, to fight global warming.

They’re launching pioneering green products (think Lexus’s iconic hybrid car LS600). And they’re dedicating resources to green technology research and development; with its “ecoimagination” initiative, GE (General Electric) plans to invest $1.5 billion yearly in clean energy products and services by 2010, up 100% in 2005.

But how do you do in earth-friendly R&D, marketing, and corporate policies stack-up in terms of their own carbon footprints, per employee?

Discover the snapshot from the Carbon Disclosure Project 4:

eco-stream contributes to reduce drastically the carbon footprint of our clients but controlling and offsetting our own carbon footprint.

Client Carbon Reduction Program

In 2007 our client, PRONAL SA, saves an estimated 35.6 tons of CO2. PRONAL SA contributes to global efforts of all firms regardless of the size of the company. We are all concerns about global warming effects.

One of the key sources of carbon emission is air transportation. Therefore, it is a necessary to reduce the today’s trend of worldwide air transport increased. Meanwhile its is fundamental to meet the customers in face to face meeting – new challenge to balance the effects of business travelling.

Jetstream calculates the emissions saving with one of the leading ONG named atmosfair organization offering a scientific approach of emission reduction.

Jetstream Carbon Offset Program

At Jetstream, our belief is that climate change will only be addressed if each and every one of us takes responsible steps to REDUCE their CO2 emissions.

We do realise that for some individuals, businesses and organisations, avoidance of all CO2 emissions will be almost impossible – in this case, Carbon Offsetting plays a vital role.

How do we offset?

The process of Carbon offsetting involves two steps first a calculation of your carbon footprint.

The second step involves buying ‘carbon offset’ credits from emission reduction projects. Such projects will prevent / have already prevented or removed an equivalent amount of carbon dioxide elsewhere in the World.

As CO2 emissions are distributed across the World, it does not matter whether you make the reduction in Manchester or Mumbai – the positive effect on the environment will be the same.
